Only reason the church would take some of the blame is if they knew about the acts and covered it up alowing the priests to continue in their postions (no pun intended).

Um, since this has been going on for CENTURIES, what's the big deal? But I am repulsed at the media's stance on it.
Like Darkstorm told me last night, it's a modern day witch hunt. It's sick. I don't like the Catholic Church or anything, but I doubt that THAT many priests molested THAT many children in the past three decades. And it only comes out now, when there is no way to prove that it happened. I was thinking about writting an editorial on the subject for the local papers just today.
