Ok we can all agree that the Bible has been changed over the centuries (That isn't a question) but could it be possible that God knew what chenges we would make and allowed for it?

Could the "Changed" bible actually be the result of Gods big plan right from the begining?

possibly, until men got a hold of his words...I don't think he would want them used in the way they are...

Well the book of revalations clearly states that some parts of it won't make sense until the time is right so why not other parts of the bible

but how would we know what parts were meant for those purposes? It could turn into interpreting Nostradameus...every one would have their own interpretation about what date, and what exactly the "sign" was...aside from one being predictions and the other the retranslated words of god derived from memories, dreams and voices...is there a difference?

I think that the bible is supposed to be a bit like the greek myths... it is an exaggeration with some truth.. so make the point clear... like the creation of earth.. I think that thats a story someone made up.. but the message its trying to give you is that god created everything.. even if he created it through evolution..

but what if the original theory was not made up...what if at one point when God was gathering a flock, he actually spoke to a few people...and as one mentioned it to his friend, his friend had a strange dream, so it must have been from god, and so on and so on...back than it would have been in a language they would have understood, since aramic is a dead language, how would people who never heard or spoke it be able to translate it, and how much of their own biasness would they insert, Monks took legends and stories from ancient cultures and twisted them into an acceptable christian theory...

how would god know that? he didn't even know that eve was being tempted by a serpent in his own garden? He's a god, not psychic...besides I believe that if God is really up there, he's probably not happy, if he knew that it would be used to stir up hate and bigotry, why would he do that?

I'm not going to even presume to second guess God but one thing I do know is that originally Eve wasn't tempted by a serpent but by Adams first wife Lilith and since God gave them free will he couldn't interfere in their dealings.

so god would not interfere with their decisions, but made a big adieu about not eating from a particular tree? Well I guess since they were his first "children" and lilith was so great at disobedience...maybe he needed several millenia to improve his parenting skills...thought the bible was the way to go...I wonder where he gets his parenting techniques from?

Man has a knack of interpreting these texts to suit their own needs... IE holy wars, ect. It would not surprise me if the texts added or modified every now and then are also connected to this desire to manipulate religion for personal gains (which is in my eyes the greatest sacrilege you can commit, even 'tough no faith of my own I have).
And who will decide when the time is right? People have been announcing the end of days from the year the bible was written (I think). Kinda hard to believe these days...

True, I think, this. A moralising story, but little more then that. There is little evidence that the bible is more then a combination of historic dates and facts, woven into a nice little drama story. Hollywood should envy the writer(s).
I the same. I think he still needs a lesson or 2 on how to make the bad boys behave...

there has to be a balance.. without evil there is no good and God knows this.. its all part of the big plan.. but MANY leaders of churches changed gods word to control people.. thats why we have so many different religions that are "centered around God" no church is going to tell me how I am supposedto love God.. only I know that
