the cats with no fur are called Sphynx, they are high maintenance cats who need to be washed weekly because they do not groom themselves like the cats with fur and will get oily skin. They also need to be moisturised at times and need sunscreen if they are to go outside. I think they are interesting and unique and I would like to own one one day. They are aparently highly intelligent and can be taught tricks like turning lights on etc. I love the way they look but then again I love all animals Sphynx are pretty expensive though

how can you be sure you've bought the real thing? someone could've just shaved a regular cat or used hair remover then sold it to you for a grand. then a couple months later when it regrows all it's hair, you realized you've been dupped.

you buy it from a registered breeder, and they are pretty unmistakable, they have different features to a real cat and they would not have the usual hair growth marks where hair is popping out. you would have to be pretty dumb to buy a fake sphynx

WE have a wannabe sphynx cat... LoL His name is Flamer and he's a flame pt siamese that prefers to be furless. He licks all his hair out on a pretty regular basis and it's quite disgusting... Though he's been doing a lot better lately.
