What about the people who live in hurricane country? Isn't it their own fault that they live there? They coulda moved....
I already went through that. We need them to be there, and since the insurance companies can't pay the bill for these regular disasters, it's in the national interest that the rest of us do it.
I don't think its in the national interest to do a thing for them. If they can't rebuild their own counties, their spending to much money on other, less important things. Now if there were a huge earthquake and part of florida were to collapse into the sea, that would be a different story. But just a hurricane, which is a disaster that happens all the time in florida and floridians know it as well as everyone who knows anything about florida knows it, is not a national emergency.
