Sadly, I'm not in the least surprised.

My mom had a 45 of the 5th Dimension version that lead into "Let the Sun Shine In". (Does anyone else know what a 45 is? LOL)


I have mixed feelings on this. I get headaches sometimes to do with this Aquarian Age thing. I got interested in reading about it and listening to other people talk about it because I am trained in Reiki and some of that sort of talk travels in the same circles.

If what I've read is what is going on, then Jordyn heard the same thing I did, that we have already begun. If that is true, I also agree with zero about it being interesting to experience in this lifetime, though I think we would only be able to see the inklings of the beginning of it.

Even though I've dabbled in astrology I never quite understood though how the signs go forward but the ages seem to travel backward. I'd read the age prior to this (that is basically the 2000 back to the time of Christ) was the Piscean Age, and not the Capricorn Age like most people would guess.

I never owned any, but when I was a little kid I had a record player that could be set from 78 to 45. Wish I still had that stuff. I had Michael Jackson's "Thriller", Monthy Python's "Matching Tie and Handkerchief", Steve Martin's "King Tut", some Bill Cosby, and some other albums. Oh well.

Those were the best! My brother and I used to have hours of fun with ours, usually using it for everything it wasn't suppposed to be used for...like playing 33 1/3 records on 45 or 78, or vice versa, or putting Fisher Price people on it and turning it on and watching them go flying off. We had all these crazy records, Disney ones (my brother also had "Disco Mickey Mouse") and some weird Michael Jackson-narrated E.T. set, and I think I also had one with all the songs from The Wizard of Oz. Then later when I was in about 4th or 5th grade, and started getting my own 45's (Blondie, and some old pop/disco songs like the Village People, etc.) the record player wasn't as cool so I got a "stereo" (which at the time was little more than a record player, but instead of red and white, or blue, it was black and silver with detached speakers). Then I got to borrow my aunt's Rolling Stones and Ramones albums.

SERIOUSLY!!! I had TOTALLY forgotten about that!! When I was little, we totally had fun with that thing making everyone sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. lol

The past thousand years was the Age of Aquarius from any reasonable perspective. A thousand years ago humanity was nature's bitch; now we take care not to accident crush it under foot. We've gone from having just thought up chimneys to traveling into space and manipulating matter on the atomic level. Ideals like Democracy or equality have never resonated or been supported like they are in the Western world, not in all the rest of human history.

This astrology stuff is bullshit. Put down the Dan Brown and take some responsibility for the world around you. Humanity continues to progress forward. I don't know about love steering the stars, but we've got no cause to complain; it's better being alive today than at any other time in history, and things are only continuing to improve. What do you think Socrates, Jesus and Confucious would've paid for their own blogs?

Hmm, 45's.. yes i remember them. And i even remember 78's! Yeppers, i'm that old!
As for the age of aquarius. It was a song used in the stage and tv versions of hair.
Also, if you look back at your astral charts, you'll notice that the conjunction mentioned has already occured. Like over 40 years ago!!
As far as the astrology end of it. It was said that the signs would shift 1 space over. forward or back i'm not remembering. But that's what i was told back then. It also was to usher in a new age of 'enlightenment'
HAHAHA That sure as hell didn't last. But at least we got off this planet for abit..
