On this 35th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, I would like to share my views on the issue of abortion.

Life begins at the point of conception. No one can deny that after a human being is conceived it will develop into the very same being as those debating this issue. What astounds me is that those who favor abortion went through an identical development stage as the being they are condemning to death. Would these very same people agree that a similiar choice should have been made about their own existence? Abortion today is used primarily as a birth control of convenience because people are too self-centered to take precautions. They prefer their own pleasurable self-indulgence over the care and sanctity of the life they created. What ever happened to taking responsibility for one's actions in this country? Is it too much to ask a woman who has conceived to place the child into adoption? Nine months of discomfort is nothing compared to life in prison for voluntary manslaughter! Does the father of the child have a say in this? And what about the constitution of the United States? Are not all people conceived in this country deserving of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? I believe abortion is a crime against humanity and should be outlawed. We need to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision and get back to cherishing life in this country. For a country that murders it's children cannot be far from self destruction.

If you overturn the decision completely, it's not going to stop women from having abortions. The fact that marijuana is illegal doesn't stop people from smoking it. So if you're telling me that we'll then "get back to cherishing life", you're living in a fantasy world.

yes, I'm sure we could revert to those backroom coat-hanger abortions. It would surely cut down on the female population..

And my opinion on the subject is this: It's not MY body. So it's not MY choice. But if it's my genes growing in the womb, I would like a say in it.
OH! And if you know she's pregnant with your child, You DO have a say nowadays. Just make sure you have the money for the lawyers fees!! And to keep her well kept for the nine months. Plus medical fees etc.

I don't know about that, if a woman is hell bent on infanticide, it don't matter how much moolah you got, your kids brains are going to be vacusucked and there isn't anything you can do about it.

i agree my body my desion i bwould never personaly have one i did the act so its my resposablility to deal with it Sex makes babys duh but i dont think that someone that dosent even know me should have a say in such a personal issue its the people who made its decision what if they were raped some people arnt emotionaly strong like i said i wouldnt i mean the baby didnt rape you and shouldnt die for someone elces mistakes but its not anyone elces decision !!!!!!!!!

I think "my body my decision" should be extended to males too, a woman has the choice to keep or murder her baby and the male has the choice to support it or not with no court rulings forcing garnishes on him etc.

no, no, no you silly bunch. something cannot come from nothing. life cannot spontaneously "combust" at the conception stage. it has to be latent in the forces which come together to conception. life, therefore, begins in the zygote stage. zygotes are sacred. it's not just abortion that needs to be banned it's male masturbation and blow jobs that must be banned for they destroy life!

Of course, if you do that, you have to ban birth control as well.. And you would have to force females to attempt a fertilization of the eggs as well... So that means that women would have to be forced to start having sex at whatever age they begin menstruating.. So then the legal age for sexual encounters has to be lowered to 12-14 so it's part of that sublaw...

end result.. the planet becomes maxed out population wise in about 3 years.. And we go into the babies having babies argument as well....
