what kind of combat are you talking about? Combat with ones self or the kind where you go and beat up the grocery store checkout guy (if you have the guts, perception and anticipation that is)

Sounds interesting.Could be good as long as there is no hidden motives or corrupt leaders/teachers.Nice to see what code you stand by. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

The battle with myself still rages, but the fight with the bagboy was incredibly easy.
He threw me against one of the checkout counters, I was totally unfazed and promptly kidney punched him. He staggered away hunched over like someone had punched him in the nuts. de vagorum ordine dico vobis iura

I don't know if I like this whole 'eternal' deal. I'd like to be able to take breaks to do other things, you know? One is liable to get tired after a while...or hungry even. Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

sounds interesting... but it reminds me of one of those "home gym built in one" sort of commercials, ya know? How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!

You people are so petty! How can you ridicule something you do not even know?If you weren't so fickle, you may just end up having a good time trying other peoples ideas.Think about that the next time you go eat at McDonalds or use a public restroom... Quiet winds that carry the sakura leaves...

Um... I can't remember the last time I hate at McDonalds (and I don't see what that has to do with anything).
And a public restroom, it's called convenience and etiquette. Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."

i think what misery meant by that was that McD's and public restrooms were somone elses ideas. And if a few people hadn't of tried them, we wouldnt have such great things. I mean, where else can you get cow flesh douced in grease and set ablaze, then smoothered in thousand island dressing....or where else can you piss on someones foot when it comes under the edge of the stal....well...do it and be able to call it an accident.
Actually...come to think of it...i believe i have heard of something like that Misery. Um...some japanese writer who wrote a book called the 'way of the warrior' or something of that sort...maybe it was code....or maybe the number seven was in there somewhere....anyhow...the point is i have heard of something like that.
So hell, i can use a sword....i'll gladly join

Well,Johnny has a sense of irony. It is not the subject itself you short-viewed little wiggets. It is the topic of the subject matter! If no one thought of the things we have now, then we wouldn't have them!Simple as that. So,everytime you go out and be like other peole and do what everyone else does, you lose yourself in a world amassed of copycats and wannabees, the only way to set in stone that you are you-apart from the world and not just another number,is by being true to yourself.Do that not by following the crowd,do it by saying what you believe.Filthy jackasses...may the cows run over you!! yeah...thats the book, and the writer. i knew i knew it. Anyhow, i do use a sword. I prefer a fulltang katana, but i also enjoy just about every other version of sword made. I also prefer to fight with it inverted...im much better that way.
I've practiced using katana, american calvary, rapiers, and bastard swords. I have to say, the katana is the best built sword in both strength, speed, and balance. But rapiers are nice, as long as the opposition is also armed with one. And the bastardswords are nice for heavy and hard blows, but a little weak on speed. Where as the calvary is hard to control sometimes, but when you get it, you've got it good.
