do you see a picture, or colors? of course you see a picture, but what is the reality of a painting? there is a course devoted to this subject, as the greeks exclaimed Dionysus, the Greek God of wine (drunkeness) advocates us to see things not as specifically as they are.....for example, a painting has meaning, or an apple is different as you see (such as cubism) where there is an inside with a core, seeds, a backside, an underside, etc......then there is the Greek God Apollo (who i do not know exactly his status) which can be declared as the mere reality of something, such as a painting is merely colors, and an apple is as you see it, reality is as you see it: two dimensional instead of having the conception of three dimensional.....

you are mixing examples without enough explanation... to work i think that post would need much more detail and much more analysis...
