for movies - I use The Pirate Bay - still seems to have the most seeds or torrentreactor.net
for games - torrentreactor.net
for apps - mininova, piratebay,torrentreactor

i use the inbuilt search function in uTorrent.

i think it connects mostly to ISOHUNT.

i dont download movies or music, i just tend to get tv episodes of things ive missed, watch em then delete em once ive seen it, and then i download programs from there that i need the installers for or recently ive needed SP2 so ive downloaded it there because its quicker than from a website or ms update.

at the moment, mostly im using torrents for linux distros. im playing around with linux and beryl at the moment, and im using a distro called SABAYON which is a Live on dvd (and now on cd too, they compressed it) with comes with beryl built in.

its damn snazzy.

isohunt is cool, I used to use it... but I didnt like the page setup for search results.

what would you recommend for a novice linux user.

i've just gotten into using torrents. i use BitLord. it's pretty good on seeds, no matter what i download. i mainly use it for movies i can't find and anime. i delete things after i'm done, though.
