i leave my mother on my computer 15 minutes, and i wind up with a virus. somehow, she managed to download and PURCHASE that damn Brave Sentry crap.

i love her, really, i do. but that was the first time i almost physically attacked my mother. GAH!

so, i just spent all night attempting to purge my computer of it. as far as i can tell, it's gone. but you can never be too sure of these things. can any think of any other methods of triple checking? somethings telling me i may have missed something.

What did you do to remove it from your computer?

first i ran the smitrem program. then manually removed anything suspicious or things i just didn't know what the hell they were. my brother had a look through and he says it looks clean and couldn't find anything.

he's good, but i know that there are people here who are better. i just thought i'd get your opinions.
