Hey guys -
Im setting up a forum for a Call of Duty 4 clan site - I want to modify some PHP but my skillz are lacking....
all I want to do is change one item in the style to add one additional link back "home" - but I cant find the file where the links are being called from - HELP!!!

can't help ya man...next time I see chaoskreator or another one of my buddies that knows PHP i will ask him to take a look and see if they can help you out.

from what ive read I can modify the overall_header.php file to include another link - but its not html and this PHP shit is confusing.

if you go to the forum link - there is no link back "home" once you have gotten to the BB.

Okay. I looked over the index.php page of your forum. It's mostly simple html with little spots of PHP.
Now, you're wanting a link back to the main Triple Six html information page at the top of each one of your forum pages, right?
I would have to read over the rest of your php pages to be sure, but, I believe the simplest solution would be to find the line:
and insert the following just after that line:
Now, I'm not exactly sure how the forum is laid out (even though I have a copy of phpBB at home, I've never really toyed with it that much), but it looks like most of the main pages are taken care of through the index.php page. But I could be wrong. In the event that I am incorrect, you'll have to go through and add that bit of code on every page that will be displayed (sounds worse than it is, trust me).
