Gus and I were discussing cows last night after I told him about this thread. I've always known cows to be domesticated in some form of the word. How was it before? And what the hell would PETA like for us to do with all of the cows we've bred anyways?

I live in Wyoming...we have "wild cows". there are herds that roam 1000's of acre without being tended at all. They aren't aggressive but can be a nuisance since they also have no fear. The owners just round up a few when needed and leave the rest to fend for themselves. This is a free range/fenceout state so if you don't like the cows in your yard you have to fence them out.
