is there something i must do? i log in, but seem to only be on for so-so long.....for example: i read some threads, go to post, AND BAM! it says i must "log in"....why?

Clear out your cookies and your cache and then log in. Make sure that the Remember Me check box is checked.

That should fix your problem and you'll probably be able to get into the chat thing after that as well
