Anyone got any pointers to a newbie poetry writer?

write what you feel. Poems don't have to rhyme, or even have a beet. As long as they make sence to you. I have poetry under poems/ "Infectious" if ya wanna check em out. I feel that a poem is a great way to express urself! Poems can be of any catigory or length. any ways good luck and i look forward to reading some of ur work :-)

A good time to write poetry is when you are feeling a strong emotion. Use your emotion to transfer the energy into words. Using that technique can help you to create some very powerful poems, whatever type you choose.

fuck around with alliteration and internal rhymes, it can be fun....pleasing to the ears....
