My CD/DVD-Rom Broken?
Support ForumDiscuss My CD/DVD-Rom Broken? in the Deleted Threads forums; It was working fine until yesterday. Now every audio CD or DVD I try to play is choppy.
How do you get it fixed?...
hmm..you sure it is the cd drive and not something on your comp? do you have a spare cd drive around that you can try inorder to test the system out? i have seem programs cause the same issue so without a little testing there really isn't much to tell you.

All processes off, still the same. I tried various scenarios - restart, shutdown-start, different discs...It's one of those drives where you have to push it in to load (no button), so maybe it's physically worn?

Runs fine. The only changes I've made in the past few weeks is installing Window Washer and Evidence Eliminator. You think they might have fucked something up?
Also, my laptop tends to stall after, say, 10 hours running before I need to restart.
