i can upload my pics just fine then i go to finish the post and the pics don't show up. you know the attachment thumbnail box...what's going on? is it just me?

nope, its not you, there is a problem, i have had it for a week or so now. garg is aware of it.

Posted a pic in the thread for us guys in the forum somewhere. It never showed the pic. Just said attachment blah blah whatever,.. so I ended up hosting it instead afterwards. I was wondering if there was a setting I may have not set.

you should not have to set anything specific, just below the post reply window, manage attachments section, you should beable to upload them from there. If it does not work, it should tell you why ... wrong file type, too big etc etc...

I just checked the post you are talking about. It worked fine, you are not having probs with it. Maybe it just didnt show right away because it was slow or something.

I was going to snap a shot and show you something but now I do not even have an edit button showing there now. Its no big thing. If I can't figure it out,.... I'll just host whatever I post..Thanx.

I can see the one you uploaded as an attachment, it uploaded fine. Then following that post, i see your picture again, the one you hosted yourself. You cannot see the picture in your first post?

yeah .... that happens at times, this place can be slow, i bet if you waited 5 mins, the picture would show up haha. I can see it no problem though, so others can as well. You did it right.

....This is happening with many pictures on the site. And the page is fully loaded. There is something else causing it. I have went thru my firewall checking things to see if maybe,.. but no go.......I have no other clue as to why.

this kinda has something to do with it, smilies don't seem to work with netscape? is that just a common problem, of is there something more sinister going on?

For example when i go to enhanced posting, and i click on a smilie on the right side of the screen, it scrolls the page up to the top, and it doesn't ass the smilie.. it does it both in netscape and explorer... could just be my pc...
