My biggest writting influences are Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison-they are both just amazing.

I guess im a little differnt than most poeple, most of my inspiration comes from my life experinces or wat i read of others work [ without plagerism] , ofcourse most of my work morose and sad , guess thats why most of my stuffs pathetic , still i find its cathartic to write and i love it , so dont look for a break from me ill probably be writing bad poetry till my DEATH!

Inspirations? The Romantics, even Wordsworth (although he's my least favorite of the main six; Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley, Keats).

Byron is definitely my favorite poet; he satisfies my tastes for academic poetry (his long epics; Childe Harold and Don Juan) and his lyric verse is just so gorgeous...

Can you dream of poetry so beautiful? It rolls off the tongue fluidly; it is music to the ears; it makes you think of the dreams of romance, and fills your heart with warmth. So gorgeous. The first two lines of "She walks in beauty" made Byron my favorite poet back in 7th grade.

One of my English professors found a lot of kinship with Blake's poetry in my meagre portfolio, but I don't know how I'd term my "style." Certainly, I prefer formalism, but my metre is usually lacking.

Like Eliot, I will one day hopefully leave this country. No outright distaste or dislike for America, but I don't... fit. The environment has countless positives, but it's not me. My soul belongs in Europe.

Also, a lot of my stuff sometimes seems dark, or depressing, but that's usually because when I'm depressed, I am calm enough, my mind is slow enough, to actually think concretely. When normal or manic, I'm akin to being hyperactive. Thoughts are difficult to REALLY get across, and my verse really suffers.

Although, to give some merit to free verse, I love some e e cummings and John Cage.

My inspirations:

-Life (and ofcourse death, since that's what life is all about... dieing)
-people who I admire and appreciate (alot of them here on DF, especially MD and Chaos Kreator, sorry for not mentioning the others, but there are so many of em... by the way, where is chaos???? GDDMND)
-everything in life actually, dreams, flowers, birds, rotting corpses, stench, .... whatever pushes me to write...
-drugs... they make me see things in another way, sumtimes opening options I didnt see before... is it worth to take drugs for??? yes and no... because, it is all inside of me already... its just a gate that opens, and one day I will be able to do so without them drugs, lol... except for shrooms, because that opens the real world inside of me and... I wouldnt like that one to open up without the key to it... would be bad bad bad, eheh)
