perhaps it's just that some languages are more lyrical than others... take the romance languages, for instance. but english is germanic in nature, making it much more... hmm, how to say this... abrupt.

and any one-language speaker misses out on a many great things because of that limitation (i say as i have only a skim of understand of several languages).

I think it to be a powerfull connection of the untold plague in society, It has a beautiful connection for the agonizing seduction compelling the truth out of corrupt authority. Also its good if you feel dyslexic sometimes =)

Burroughs thought at times that by cutting three different texts intro strips and putting them next to one another on a table, it was possible to discover new texts. The new texts could, for e.g., let agents operate through hosts and work their agendas.

He noticed a line "raw peeled winds of hate blew the shot" and for years thought it was about a shot of heroin. He later decided it was about shooting his wife to death in Mexico.

I don't know what I think. He gets a lot of grief for misogyny, and I'm not sure I can disagree.

The only times I can think of when you grab another person with your knees are when you play-trap a little kid that's running around and during sexual intercourse, which seems more likely to be what DL is describing b/c of the "coal" and the "minute".

What would prompt someone to make this declaration? Maybe condescension from someone who claims to have surpassed him after formerly having been a peer?
