So I'm wondering if anyone else ever gets sick of scrolling through pages and pages of bull shit totally unrelated to poetry when they go through the poetry threads. I know for me it certain limits what I actually read.

I have a 3 page bullshit limit myself... If I've clicked through 3 pages and no poetry, or even comments relating to poetry... I'm out of there. Most of the crap I see in all these threads would do much better in the friendship area.

I mean, not that I'm totally anal, I'll go in and say hi to a friend or something, but when it goes on and on and your last poem is 10 pages back, I think you're popular enough to start a thread in the friendship section for it.

Just wondering if anyone feels the same way...

I only post poetry in my thread and have told people that's its for my poetry and nothing else. If they don't like it then they can kiss my ass.

This is a poetry forum not a 'chat and kissy kissy' forum.

there ya go... now don't get me wrong, we all have friends here, and I am more than willing to scroll past a page of 'friend-talk' but it just kinda sucks when that's what the thread mainly is...

I think that the problem is, some people come here not to read the poetry but to merely converse. Moving such things to the Friendship area would be very nice indeed.
