Thanks to the both of you for entering.
I'd like to say to undiscovered that I enjoyed your poem. It was heartfelt and sweet. Nothing to 'poke fun' at. I do think it broke down a little near the end poetically though.
Thus, December's winner is Sik Simon. Congrats sik. I'll get you overlorded on or around the 5th.

Aerial Soulistice
Why, why this simple feeling
I try to hide
How it dwells, how it swells,
Supports the centers of my cells
Try to cover it with lies,
Thus, astounded by the size
It lives among us in our thoughts
Leaks unto the savage cops
Do not disdain, just hold the pain
A song within forgiven sins and
This is my hell, she foretell's of
Within the centers of my cells and...
The darkened sky was filled with light
Sun will never shine tonight,
Tomorrow floods into the sphere
Wish to God that hear my fear
Raise the molten-golden notes,
My guitar strings
All sorts of viruses, warts, and microscopic things
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die
Then, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly
Yeah
How it seethes, how it breathes
Brindle brush and through the leaves,
Try to vanquish it with truth, but the youth becomes the truth
Pouring in it overflows
Do not retreat, nor claim defeat
Such time without, without a doubt,
Is in our creeds, and in our dreams
Oh how it seethes, oh how it breathes
Cinder dust and in the leaves
Bringing nations to their knees
Inside it feeds, upon the grease
And scrapes away our sanity
Life is an agonizing pain that will not die |
