This months winner is Nathan Charles.

The judgeing was incredibly grueling as all poems entered were of equal caliber. I asked several people their opinions, and they all went with somebody different... so, when the poem I was leaning towards was mentioned I went with it.

This poem stirs up some vivid emotion and the rhyme (which seemed to be a rather consitant theme with all the poems entered) didn't seem quite so forced. Good rhyming poems are a tricky thing to do. My only gripe is that the whole poem is one giant run-on sentence. If you're going to use punctuation, use it. And use it to your advantage.
