Hmm... I was just browsing through the old posts here and noticed a thread 'Chess: Aeternus vs. SirVLCIV' (original thread here)... and I have thought of something...

Does anybody want to play chess against me on the forum?

I will be a weak opponent though, as I haven't played chess for ages and I actually never was a good player...

But the challenge is open. I'd like to meet some opponent tomorrow

(off to bed now...)

I'd be interested, but as you can see from that thread, I get quite busy at the drop of a hat; probably a bad idea for me to get involved in another one.

Why not join www.gamecolony.com with the same s/n as your DF s/n then play each other that way. If I remember correctly from when I used to be a net-chess freak you can play pretty much every style of game possible.

If I got it right, we both need to be present there at the same time to play. I didn't want to really spend a few hours of non-stop playing... just a few minutes once in a while to make a turn and plenty of time for thinking

... and also there is a matter of time differense.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion
