Just sometimes socks...I really don't recall many other things disappearing from the dryer. I have a theory on how the centrifugal force of the dryer creates a vortex, etc. and I often wonder if that theory were true if there is a place in space where there are a bunch of stray socks floating around and also it would be possible that you could wind up with stuff from someone else's dryer in yours because of this.

Conversation and the often underestimated observation. There's a lot you can get to know about someone that they DON'T say or that you can "pick up" in other ways.
When was the last time you were in a cemetery?

My worst would be financial ruin b/c I value my self sufficiency above nearly all else. I've fortified myself against difficult circumstances though, and I know from past experience I've got the endurance to bear them and the determination to fight back to a status that's acceptable to me.
