don't post enough, I'm so bored! Damnit!

i fell so aggravated, were pretty sure my mom left us. she walked out on us earlier because of my dad. i don't blame her, I'm halfway out the door if you get my drift. she's done this before and she's always come back, obviously if she left again... blah. i really don't want to sound like a whiny 16 year old female but i hate my dad. he's such a dick. he's always blaming all of his problems on us (mostly me and my mom), constantly nagging at my mom that she's not good enough; is a lazy slob; stuff like that (I'm not left out of the fun either but his choice words for me are "inconsiderate whore-mouth bitch"), always yelling at me for something, ALWAYS. I'm lucky if i get 10 minutes of silence out of him. over stupid stuff "its 61 am why are you not up yet? why are these dishes not done, i don't care if your still eating! go clean the bathroom since your lazy mom wont! go clean my room since I'll be to busy at out neighbors house" well, he doesn't say that last one but it is usually what ends up happening. things got so bad today my mom and i almost left for Ohio. but instead of leaving my little brother to die we just took almost 6 hours to return some lightbulbs. i guess i need to stop bitching because things use to be a lot worse, it seems everytime we call the cops he calms down. people wonder why i hate christmas/every other holiday my dad gets off for/weekends.

So post more so I have something else to think about.

Dads are pretty useless.

I hear all those songs that say crap like "my daddy never said he loved me, he never hugged me either" and I wanna pick up my radio, take a plane to whereever-the-hell they are and throw it at them.

i wouldn't say useless all together, if it wasn't for him i would have never learned to use a gun. not in defense or anything, he was just the first one to have taught me. but he wasn't there the first time i shot one off....other then that... *draws a blank*

my father hs been dead for going on 4 years now. i loved him dearly, and i want him to be here again, but then think of how ba we ha it at times, and how unlucky we were. he' betteroff dead in this world.

i would just make sure and plan ahead so that once you get out of highschool you will either a) have a scholarship and work lined up for college or b) have a job and a place to move to lined up.

All I have to do is finish out this school year, stay sane my senior year, and then I'm off. I'm still working on getting a job and I have scholarships (so far I'm going for music and academic. I could also apply for grants), either way I'm out of here.

You will understand soon enough that parents are people too. Not only that, but the realization will come that they're not only people but children, as are we all. The ideas, dreams, ambitions, and thought processes that you develop as a child don't change much as you get older. Then consider that you are in your prime, and your parents are not.

When you don't get what you want when you're a child, you throw a fit. Think of that in terms of "I'm over 40, overweight, wrinkled, and I regret the majority of my life." Imagine the depression and the finger pointing that follows therein.

Marriage isn't natural. It's not within our genetic make ups to be with one mate for life. The only animals that do that are certain species of birds. Most adults, especially Americans, are beginning to realize that they can change anything with a push of a button and that includes who you've chosen to spend the "rest" of your life with.

Your parents will get a divorce oneday.

i wouldn't call my parents children and there is a huge difference between majority of high school kids and parents/adults. also believing whole heartedly the despair of a teenager's written plight at home is absurdly rediculous. parents also aren't perfect and many decisions they make take a whole new twist and weight of consequence in becoming a parent.

Parents are just children with the cash and means to acquire things they couldn't if they were children and had the impaired motor skills that they have. Also, parents have the experience of fucking up in life and not repeating the same mistakes. It really doesn't go farther than that.

sure thing oh wise one. your parents must reek of responsibility. now we'll take a look at the other percentage of NON-fucked up households.

Aside from all those changes between childhood and being an adult we call 'puberty' you mean. Yeah, you know the ones, those changes that change a hell of a lot about us, not just the size of our wallets and the sophistication of our motor skills.

my dad wont divorce my mom because he believes he still loves her (did i mention he cheated on her 35 times before they got married and continued to cheat on her for at least 3 more years after) and my mom won't divorce him because she says she can't afford it. the main reason i hate my dad is not because of how he treats his kids (mostly my little brother) but how he treats her. i can't stand it sometimes, it also pisses me off to no end that she doesn't stand up to him. Lately since things have taken a turn for the worse I see her standing up to him and he calmly backs down. I wish she would have started earlier.
he's ruined everything. he ruined Christmas (he started yelling at people for the gifts we got for the family), he's the reason my family no longer goes to church (he would always, intentionally start a fight with someone to see how mad we could get so when would go to church he would go "now you have to let all that hate go") ... he ruins everyone's day by being a poo head, he's just so hard to get along with.... I'm done ranting for now.

Puberty doesn't change much. You get some hair, a deeper voice, and a sex drive.

Before I went though it I had this high annoying voice, then I hit and it stayed the same. I was the wtf? then I had my tonsils taken out and now I do kinda have a lower voice.
