young, single, attractive people, act like old married people with children...oh wait, i am an old married person so that analogy won't work...i have a life however...

i've noticed this a lot on board and off that these people that should have no excuse for not having a life,do not have one. For every bit of advice i give on achieving a life(all tried and proven methods) they still can't successfully go out, do something and meet people...

it rather upsets me hearing these people that don't have to break an arm and pay a leg for babysitting, schedule time off of work and spend money that could be used for household bills to just have one weekend of visiting with friends...just the other day i had to pay seventeen dollars for two hours of shopping...

these people can literally do anything that they want, yet say to me they have no life?

Give them two demanding children and a unfufilling job, than let them whine about not having a life...

some of us just don't care. actually i have part of i life i guess. i do things other then post at darkforum. like post on other boards. ok, and i "gasp" get sunburns occasionally from going outside. i'm sick of the nromal shit. siting at a pc at work everyday. going back to my apartment. same shit different day. anyone know how to get funded to travel without living on the street all the time? anyone know any old rich fucker tat wants to travel and needs someone to carry his bags?

but there's so much more to do than travel...to enjoy life a person doesn't need money, just time...and the creativity to do something...at least you get outside

my brother in law just comes to our house and mopes, tries to tell my hubby how to improve himself after preceeding to tell us how miserable and bored he is...my husband gets an urge to smack him while we're talking about all we can do but actually can't...maybe we'll start having him babysit for us since he lacks the capabilities to get his own life...

more then travel? i do more. i skate, autox, playstation, play with my ferrets, snowboard, play bass, so on and so forth. but i want adventure. this is too mundane.

i understand, and that's an understandable decree...you have a life, it's just getting boring...but to complain about having no life, when you have no good reason to do so...that's like going to a homeless person and complaining because you have three homes and don't know which one to live in...

nope, it would be cool though. i took fencing in college but got bored with all the technique flappy footwork, etc and dropped out to skate more.

I think I have a life, but I'm in the same boat as patryn; not much seems fulfilling. Work all day, go home, go to the gym, play drums, write, go out with friends, stay out all weekend, blah blah blah blah blah. Sure, it's a life, but it doesn't really thrill me. I'm only 22, but the clock is a-tickin', and I haven't seen one iota of all the things I want to see before I go to heaven (naturally). My girlfriend rocks ass in every way, as does my Playstation 2, but I'd like a change in terms of other things.

aka adventure. the feeling you are doing something worthwhile. not going through the flow with everyone else and climbing the corporate ladder.

If I had a car.. I'd probly go out more.
I drive my dad's van whenever he's not using it, and my friends and I do stuff...
But there's not much to do in southern Rhode Island. We invade the URI campus and that's about it. It's mostly just video games, junk food, sex and rock music for us.

what would you equate as fulfilling?

i do basically the same things, but i don't feel like there's some void in my life or that i'm going no where. i hang out with my friends, go on trips, meet new people, go to the beach.. all that shit seems to be fine with me. sure there are things that i'd still like to do before i croak, but i've got a long time to do them.

i think it's just the concept of routine; i've never been down with it.

i like to be pushed mentally and physically. along with the challenge of adventure and adrenaline rushes added to the mix.

My life is pretty fullfilling... Aside from work and the gym, I spend all my time with Ariana. And you know what, she's not even 2 yet and she's far more enjoyable, far more ammusing, and perhaps even more intelligent then anyone else I know. At least she knows how to sing and dance with me, hug me if I am said, rub my back, and pee's IN the tolit, not "around" it.

i would kill my parents if they named me something goth because they thought it was coolwhen they had me.
