I actually had a dream last night about a dish washer. The worst thing about that dream was I had to relive my mothers death again. It was horrible, my family were fighting over her belongings and shit... My mother had the phone on and there was a message on the phone I couldn't get to because I didn't know the voicemail password and I knew it was off my mother so I was freaking out!

Anyway the dishwasher that was there, all my family wanted it and I told them all they can't have it and shit... It was weird and yet a very upsetting dream...

I love stainless appliances. My goal is to get my entire kitchen outfitted in stainless, then tile it in dark slate. Unfortunately thats a lot of fucking money.

Dark slate is fucking expensive, my auntie has her kitchen kitted out in dark slate, it cost her about 3000 english sterling just for her walls. I am not sure how much it would cost in american, probably more. Expensive but good taste.

Stainless steel isn't that expensive... For appliences that is... Stainless steel stoves on the other hand range from $4000 canadian to $8000. I never seen a stainless steel fridge though.

Chrome is a nice metal and it is cheaper too from what I am aware of, its just fucking hard to keep clean. I have a chrome microwave, I have to rub it clean for hours if someone so much as touches it.

I actually work in the home-rehab business, Len, so I'm fairly familiar with prices. I have a stainless fridge that I picked up for $700 after it was returned to the store (i managed to drop it on my tailgate getting it home, bigass dent in the side, how nice). Stainless appliances generally run about 20% higher than their black or white counterparts, just because they are all the rage at the moment. As for slate tile, it averages about $2/sq-ft, which isnt bad. I've already got a fairly nice Parquay wood floor in my kitchen, I just want to tile the backsplash and maybe the countertop if im feelin really saucy.

All I have left is my stove. I have a huge stainless refrigerator, stainless dishwasher, and stainless microwave. My kitchen is done up in italian dark stone tiles with brown stone on the floor
