it's from last semester, i was doing the bitch work for one of my school's publications. but hey, atleast it looks good on my resume.

I had to take an incomplete in it and finish it over the summer. taking 19 credit hours plus working 30 hours a week was a bad idea.

so yeah, i need to turn in the portfolio. I'm a fucking slacker

I'm a slacker (tonight). I'm also starving. And this paper I'm doing (as well as scouring this page) gets the old "Hold" button for about an hour while I go eat.

the paper i'm doing is on a linguistic study concerning Japanese language based on gender and how they've progressed/changed/maintained their form...

the smell of cat shit annoyed me.

im in the process of toilet training the cats. its a litterbox that rests just under the toilet seat and you fill it with litter. the middle of it is hard plastic with perforated rings. each week you remove a ring from the middle (starting from the middle and working outward) so that each week, the hole in the middle is a bit bigger and the cats learn to use the potty.

well today i removed the very middle (smallest) ring so theres a smallish hole in the middle of their litterbox. and i refilled around the hole with fresh flushable litter. and the kittens seem to think its a fucking game to paw the litter INTO the hole and OUT of the litterbox.


so yeah, when they have to potty, theres nearly no litter left in the box and they cant cover it, so it REEKS!

blegh, ill be sooo glad once they are trained and i can get rid of that stupid litterbox in the toilet. *grumbles*

Linguistics are so insanely interesting. I've always wanted to do a study about how vocal (singing) training effects a speaker's voice....but I'm too fucking lazy. I did do a research paper on feral children though.

oh yesh and my annoyances for the day:

I actually took time to dress up this morning, which made me late for work. No big deal though, no one was here when I got here. But now it's fucking raining. and i have no umbrella. and i have to walk all the way across campus twice today. fuck. so much for dressing up today.
