Simple.

Its a troll; ban it, if there's a lot of differing IP address', then they're using an anon proxy, ban their emails, that way it takes them longer to set up a new address than it takes for you to ban them. They'll soon grow tired when they need to spend five minutes making a new email and DF accound when it takes you about 1 minute to ban them.

I really don't see any reason to wait and not ban them, either you'll have a bunch of IP's that lead no-where, or they'll keep doing it.

Of course I'm going to give you time and not get involved anyway, but you don't really need it.

Well I have to say from my personal expierience (on both sides of the banning wars in many places hehehehe) that there are ALOT of ways around any kind of ban. IPs can be changed in a matter of seconds and there are some people that have thier comps set up as a mail server and can creat countless random e-mail addresses in the same amount of time. About the only way to get around it all is to ping the shit out of them to locate thier ISP and ban that. The trouble that causes is it in turn bans the potential "good" users from that ISP. Hell I got banned once from msn chat for creating over 500 chat rooms of the same name in less then 30 seconds . I hopped around it and was back at it in 5 minutes and didnt get caught on the 1000 rooms I made for revenge crashing that specific server lol.

I wouldnt either unless they are a very good actor too lol. I was just makeing a point that it is possible to get around pretty much any ban imagineable lol.

Which is why I would rather the user is here where I know he is and I can just edit if needed instead of wondering where he will pop up next. I have a list already of about 30+ alternative user names this person uses on other sites to constantly evade thier bans. So if Banning will not work I will resort to editing as needed. In both cases I will edit posts which break the rules and leave warnings or explanations of why it was done. Expect to begin to see this starting now.

You have not seen the amount of names this person has nor the amount of time they have to play this game. Also I can only keep track of so many psuedonames. What would you have me do. Ban this one only to have him make 5 more. What if I am not here for 8-24 hours and in that time he SPAMS the everliving shit out of politics. It took hours to clean up the mess last time this place got SPAMMed by the HOMOs.

This way I know who he is and where he is and what he is doing. All you guys have to do is ignore him or play with him at your convenience. You all know who he is, I made sure of that. As such do not play into his hands. He is here to piss you guys off and to piss the Moderators off. That is his game. If you get pissed off you are playing into his game.

If I ban this name and he uses a new sign on name I will have a hard time knowing for sure who he is the next time he comes here. So far every time he has emerged as someone new it has been LUCK that I have caught him.

If you kept banning him as soon as any trolling happened, he'd of soon got bored (I don't care how little of a life he has, everyone gets bored). Plus he can still make a new account. Its a shoddy decision, but I suppose its yours to regret later anyhow.

I suppose its a boon to other boards out there who did deal with it better, at least he'll probably gravitate away from them to here.

By the way, the only reason he tries to convince people he's unbannable is so that they stop trying, hence, JLB: Game, Set, Match, because the rules simply don't apply to him.

If you want I can simply out-troll him until he gets pissed off enough not to come here. Its worked before for short periods, if I'm allowed to I certainly think I can make it less temporary.

Ignoring them will never work, it never has done, nor will. You could probably fit the number of times its worked since the first BBS was opened on the back of a postage stamp.

Let Dyshade do his job okay-he's monitoring the board and will take the appropriate action-this is not kissing up-but why attack him for christsakes? he's one of the only people that can do somthing when we get an ass on board.

I do think that if person A gets banned on day x, and person B gets created on day x, or day y (x+1=y), and person B promptly acts rather similarly to person A, person B should be immediately banned.

I don't think it counts when you do the same thing I said to do in the beginning, but several thousand posts later.

As an aside, I don't think it's been so much luck that we've figured out that they've been the same guy. I mean, if you haven't noticed a certain pattern, then you've gotta be blind. I agree with Sir.

Also, given that you ARE the only one who can do this, Dy (and you do a hell of a job, don't get me wrong) then any absence by you could be bad for the board as far as this is concerned...so why doesn't garg get another one of you? You know what I mean? The word "efficiency" comes to mind, no? It'd be a nice safeguard.

I wont lie and I dont hide the fact if he says something ignorant I will attack him without hesitation and falter. It never means he has the best of me since its all a big game to me . Im capable of tearing into him far worse then I did duke and for a very extended period of time. I submit to you dyshade that your hands may be tied or may not be I dont know as I am not you but I dont doubt for one second you feel your doing the right thing, but give us free reign to go after him while your in the process of doing things your way. Thus placateing all the wolves so to speak. I have attacked and "flamed" before on here but noone has seen even a small bit of what I can do with it lol.
