| That isn't necessarily true, Demon's Eclipse. I served four years plus 4 in the active reserves. It really depends on your MOS and where you land when you go back into the civilian sector.
As a rule, my experience has been that most employers would much rather hire a military vet because of training and discipline.
As far as this schmuck that you are involved with goes? Leave, sweetie, you deserve far better than that!

I hear AND feel you, Demon's Eclipse. I have been through two lousy marriages that should never have happened to begin with. When the time is right, trust me, you will leave and you WILL be a better person for it.

I hope things become better for you Demons Eclipse. When problems come, they always seem insurmountable. I've had my own mountains to climb, and when you reach the top, you see that there are more in front of you, but life seems to be about climbing mountains and so we continue.
Life can be great, this coming from someone who never knew how good life can be. I thank Hellcat for that illumination.
I wish you well Demons Eclipse. It can and will get better, it's just hard to understand when it will happen.
