Can I bitch about mods? I don't know...

Anyhow, this person is the most wishy-washy flip-flop of a moderator I've ever come across. The sort of person when you're speaking to them you realise they're going to have a really pathetic weak handshake.

I mean, have a fucking opinion! Your position actually requires it, unlike some of the others, but you're never honest because you'll never criticise for fear of hurting someone's feelings.

Liars are the worst. Better be honest and give the eejit a short sharp shock, rather than lie and have them submit more mountains of their drivel, which you read through and compliment!

I even make a thread with the express purpose of pissing this person off, or even better, proving my point, but mine is the only thread not commented on by said person. Funny that.
Are they scared of me? Because I have a strong character and I have backbone enough to be honest and say what i think? Because they've been on the receiving end of my sharp tongue and I bet that wasn't a nice experience.
Not being respected is difficult when you're in a position with even a modicum of power.

I'm sure someone can grasp what I'm talking about, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. Just hacks me off that some people are just so damned pathetic.

have you tried to seriously discuss this issue with the moderator in question, or any of the other dozens of moderators we have available on the board, redmeat, crypt and even arsinik are supermoderators that are active, reasonable and more than willing to mention to a moderator if there are some issues with their, position...and as you can see there are are other moderators who are around too...the little red title under their name designates them as one...surely we're not all on your hit list.

or did you just choose to call out the moderator because you apparantly disagree with something they've said or done, attempting to include all moderators in some blanket suggestion of inequality on the board, hoping you can one up them with the usual b.s. that this board was made for?

not all moderators are eager to get into mud slinging.

I've been around for long enough and have ample respect for the majority of the mods on these boards and in no way meant a slur upon anyone else.

I think this person isn't suited to what they're doing. I'm sure many would disagree with me but the only place I'm entitled to an opinion that's specifically venemous towards any person is in this forum.

This is the bitch board, Sybs can bitch about whatever she wants, or rather, whomever she wants. That's the purpose of the bitch board I believe. There is another thread out there where she has brought up her feelings about this.

Regardless Sybs, I hope you really don't expect anything to be done about this one. Call me a pessimist, but I just don't see the situation improving.

of course she can bitch about it...if not she'd already been banned...but apparantly those who can do something about it, don't know what's going on.

i've lobbyed to have a moderator removed before, and he was...you to have been subjected to removal, so it does happen...but not if no one knows what's going on.

i understand, i've been around long enough to know there are legitimate problems, and there are posters who are just trying to stir up trouble...the problem here would seem that only a few know the problem...i'm a little leery when people start ranting about moderators, and i'm not sure why...it's happened so often.

Im not usually like that, yeah I will conduct flame wars with people, mainly because I like to do so and the people I conduct flame wars with make me smile. But her... Along with Protowank and NMaries... All I could really do was get pissed off.... She is very much like them both...

lol... those were the wrong two statements to put together... well, unless you know something I don't. But anyway, some people don't feel like mods listen or appreciate them. Or, they feel like if they do complain, they won't be listened to, I can see it. Or some people just don't enjoy complaining. But whateva, it may all be dissapointing, but the world will certainly move on.

Agreed. White Lily just... exists. She's a half-assed critic, a moderator who has no ideas for the development of the forum (and only relies on those of others), and someone whose sense of moral superiority totally counteracts any and all argumens in a forum which is most definitely not supposed to be viewed on a moral level. Good criticism is not "mean" or "rude" if it isn't positive, and she can't grasp the fact that there doesn't need to be a positive comment to counteract a negative comment. Were this some kind of friendship board, then okay, but it's technically an art board, just like actual "art" board. Her excuse was that the poetry board is a place for people to meet new friends and meet other people who are also feeling down...... what the hell is that? If that's the case, then you can say that about any forum. It doesn't make any sense.

I do believe she was made a mod because of her activity in the forum; she posts a lot. However, outside of that, there's nothing. The poetry mod should be someone with an actual COMMAND of poetry, whether it be personal or publishable. He/she needs to have solid opinions on things, and be a good resource for feedback and the poetry scene in general. I get the impression that she doesn't read poetry much, and never really statnds behind anything.

Feh to that shit. I've been the poetry mod twice, and I >almost< want to do it again, just to show you fucks how it's done
