My friends had a big row this morning over milk. She likes no-fat, he like half-n-half. There was no half-n-half. I had used it up!

Yep, calcium and also oestrogen, which is good for girlies apparently. I take calcium supplements though cuz I eat funny.
Your body can't process the calcium in dairy, our digestive systems haven't adapted yet.

Babies can get calcium from breastmilk, and some children drink it up until about ten, and have improved health as a result (I KNOW, THAT'S A HIDEOUS THOUGHT!).
Calves get calcium from cows milk.
As adults, our best form of calcium is the likes of broccoli, and other green vegetables.

I had breastmilk for a couple of months but had to go onto formula cuz my mum couldn't keep up. Always had a healthy appetite, it's really surprising i'm not fatter.
