at the same time, i was watching on Max-X a court trial in some city in Egypt....a woman, accused of adultery, had to go to court....how does the court prove if she did it or not? they heat up a metal spoon in a fire and she has to lick 3 times....if her tongue blisters, she's guilty and will be executed......(thank god her tongue didn't blister)

i don't argue with anyone that says we had to go in and stop saddam. that affected and threatened us personally. it wasn't judgement, it was self defense. now some can argue what kind of threat saddam and his followers were, which you can elaborate all you want. nothing wrong with hearing the other side.
now the question is, why are we trying to influence them into having a newer government more like ours? self defense (prevention of the second saddam), judgementality, or some sort of thicker oil driven plot?
