I got home this morning at about 1am and my village was silent...no sign of anyone...so i was really shocked to find my car had been broken into when i was leaving for work. I thought they had forced the door open with a crowbar but my neighbour was able to tell me they had used a screwdriver then forced it open with their hands because his had been broken into the a few nights back. Car has been completely cleaned out. No radio no seatbelts i'm really annoyed. Cost my neighbour £150 to get his door fixed...i don't know about anything else. I'm only lucky it wasn't my beloved mini cooper sport they got into (probably because it has an alarm).

that blows. i'd hunt them down and fillet them.

Hell I remember that happened to my brother Kenny once. He was staying at are house for a couple of weeks. Then in the morning he found out that someone broke into his car. They broke his dashboard, stole the sterio, and his cds. But they left a flash light in the car. Man he was pretty pissed.

i know how you feel, someone broke into my truck a few weeks ago and ripped off all my stereo shit. the odd thing is they stole your seatbelts... why the fuck would they do that?

I had my car broken into many times... once the police actually came to my house and told me before I knew. They never took the radio. I had my cd collection jacked, some books(?), and my bad ass olympus... I miss that camera.

Another time I was staying the night at a friend's house and his fuckwit neighbor put deisel gas in my Nova. That really sucked.

I had about 50-60 CDs jacked out of my car. I also have 3 ninjas super glued onto my dash named Wang, Thwarp, and Boing. They're my car ninjas to protect my car. Boing got jacked.

I have recently learned that homeowners or renters insurance covers thefts from your cars. Many insurance companies will reimburse you for as much as $15 per stolen CD. I don't know if it works the same in the UK... probably not. But its useful for those of us in the states.

no, but just like any other claim it can make your insurance go up.
