Fellik ( my son ) went to florida for two months as a 'summer vacation'. I only got 2 weeks notice, but thought the change would be good for him... New places, New culture/people, ect. So i said OK. Here is the 'sudden developement' that i have yet to be informed of by his mom....
Instead of returning on the 18th of next month, he is returning on the 6th ( I thought that most 'buy now' tickets were non-transferrable ) instead..
But that's not all!!
He then goes with his grandfather for a week 'or so' to arizona for a second 'vacation'...
But wait, there's more!!!!
After he gets back from that, His mom ( and stepdad i assume ) is taking him to Goblin Valley for a camping trip!! Now this part i don't mind at all as he really likes this paticular place.
But wait, there's even More!!!
And IF there is time before school starts for him after all of this, He gets to stay with me for a couple of weeks solid.... An issue we had discussed before he left.
MeThinks that this might be a slight alteration to 'hopefully' keep him from staying with me for that solid length of time.. But i'm not sure....
Heh, i wonder if she's forgotten that slight clause in our divorce decree on this occasion..
See, one of the clauses in it state that neither of us can take the child out of state without consent from the other parent... She currently has 12 days to request that he be able to go with her dad to AZ without breaking that part of the agreement... And he won't be back till the 6th at least to do that.... She seems to have a problem talking to me about things without her 'protector' ( husband/owner ) standing by her side.... And feels that snail mail is best if the kid isn't around..
I hope she doesn't send my the information by mail.. As it seems that lately my receipt of mail is been wierd.. Probably due to the construction they are doing in/around the building.. ( Personally, i think the mail carriers are afraid of tripping over all the stuff the contractor's guys keep leaving all over the stairs and entranceway to the building.... )
But what do you think?? Are they planning ahead to keep him away from my 'deprogramming' ( her term ) him when he gets back? Or am i being the paranoid one on this occasion??

Nah Goblin Valley is in southern Utah. Nice area, spent a week camping there once.
Now, I wonder if you ex is somehow related to my ex-stepmother, cause they sound an awful lot alike, cept my ex-stepmother is a psycho alcohalic. When my two sibs moved out of her house last year, within a week she told them their pets had 'mysteriously' died. She had them killed. She guilt trips them, she plays mind games with them. She is a complete bitch.

I only had one trip in my life and that was in Estonia.

HUH? He's already been in florida for a month +...
They want to bring him home 12 days early and then tack on another 2 weeks of 'trips' beyond the original date he was due back... Then he'll have to start school and won't be able to spend time with me..
And he's been to AZ several years running.. Even after his great grandma died.. She was a really neat old woman!!!!
When Fellik told me about going to AZ, he didn't sound enthuzed about it.. Heck, he sounded more like that classic "do i have to goto aunt so-and-so's?"
But in thinking about it since my last post.. I have decided that i will ask him alone and in person if he wants to go or stay.. Then decide what I will do..
Maybe add a 'he stays with me for 2 weeks solid afterwards" clause in the permission slip...
