Fellik's got it right. There's always two sides to every story, but when it comes to this crap, you can bet his mom's only going to present one of those sides. It's a shame that humans seem compelled to behave that way, in order to maintain some kind of control, but whatever... at least she looks stupid to a bunch of strangers on the Internet.

Yep yep yep, sometimes I think my stepmother is a tad jealous of my mother and I seeing as we came first but I know she loves me. I think people are just being a bit extremist, crossing boundaries perhaps, but as it has been noted: two sides to a story and the other side isn't here to plead its case.

Now, according to her ex husband(Not me, #2):

She fed him a lot of shite about me. Most of which he took for truth. Love being blind and all.
Some of it was actually twisted truth. I did hunt her down when she took Fellik for a "trip to see family" and three days later i found out that she had actually gone the opposite direction with no intention of informing me that she had planned it in hopes that i would forget about our son.
I DID go through a 'year of insanity' before the divorce was final. And do regret some, not all, of the things i did during that time..
I NEVER hit her, not once. Nor did i threaten to hit, kill, maime, or otherwise physically harm her. Unless, of course, she had done something to cause Fellik's death/dismemberment.
I am not stalking her.
I am not watching everything she does.
I am not tapping her phones or internet.
I haven't installed hidden cameras in her house.
I am NOT trying to get her back.
I am not trying to take Fellik away from her.

It's her feckin life. and as long as it causes no harm to our child, i don't give a flying elephant about her life.
But according to the second ex-hubby, i am/was doing all of these things.. She had convinced him that i was evil, mean, crazy. Then, due to circumstaces that arose at the time of his seperation, he was transporting Fellik while picking up/dropping off his daughter from my Ex's house. And became curious and asked me questions. Thereby getting the other side of the story(mine). He informed me about things she had told him. I told him my version. he weighed the two and came to his own conclusions.
OH, and thats another funny thing.. When picking up Fellik, or dropping him off, I am scheduled for it so not to show up at the same time as hubby #2. Heaven forbid we say hi to each other around her new husband.

3 marriages though...she MUST be a little whacked out. My mother figured it out after the second divorce: no more marriages. Things have been rather good the past 10 years so I think it's working.

your lucky.. I truely believe that divorced parents should try their best to get along when kids are involved. It's better for the kids if they do. Unless of course the kids screw up. Then the kids hate it.

Indeedy. My parents get along fine. It's my stepmother that causes tension sometimes. She has been asked not to call our house, if she needs to talk to me she calls my phone. Myea... and sometimes she's scolded me for something I did that wasn't really wrong, but overall she's a nice lady I mean geez she took me up as her stepdaughter when I was 4 so that says something. But yes, he parents get along okay, though my relationship with my father is not very strong, at one point I was highly upset with him but I won't get into that since this is your thread. (Sorry if Im talking to much about myself.) My youngest sibling has a different father and my mother and he get along alright but there is certainly some tension there. I still don't know why she ever married him. He is just one of those men who just should never marry, he's not made for it. But he does so much more for his kid than mine does and he was a good stepfather. He still treats me like his stepdaughter which is nice. So yea, when the parents can maintain a decent relationship for the kids sake, so they aren't all whacked out when they get older, it's a good thing. (Geez, I hope mine succeeded. You think so?)

Though she has changed greatly over the last 5 or so years...
She went from devoute paganism to a full coversion to catholicism(including fighting for dissolusion of our marriage in the eyes of that church) in under 1 year. Her second husband was catholic and she fought him about their daughters baptism. Now she's full fledged catholic.

Weirdness. I'm Catholic (technically). My father is...umm, some kind of protestant I guess. Not a church going guy. My stepmother was raised Jewish but she got fixated on the church, not so much now. She never forced me to go though which was AWESOME. No forcing of the religion!

But yes, that is really, really weird.

my dad has had six marriages, two before my mom, and three after their divorce, and each woman got crazier too...so i can agree those with multiple marriages tend to be on the unstable side, he's now been happily living with a crazy korean lady that "cooks good food" for about, five years.

but as for the battle between ex's, it was rather nasty when my parents divorced, us kids didn't really complain, because we were well compensated with two birthdays, two christmas's and constant showerings of "stay with me" type of gifts.

so how do people do it amiably, just last night i had a rather cute, frequent customer come in and rent a movie, his ex wife told him to watch, because it reminded her of their relationship, apparantly they get along better divorced than married...he seems to stress his ex wife to me often.

i don't understand such relationship concepts...*shrugs* especially when kids are made to suffer over their parents, emotional baggage from a relationship that's gone bad.
