is was bored and let my mind wander and came to wanting some knowledge. What is everyones perfect death (in detail or not) and their ideal funeral.

say what you will i just see death as nothing more than another moment in your life. the end of it. and the beginning of another plain of existance. so i see your death as nothing more than a moment that you can see coming. the only thing in life that is slightly predictable.

and i don't give a fuck if you like my name. like wicked lady is that creative. what that take you a whole 3 seconds? fubk calling my gawth. i didn't even say i was goth to begin with. i just think disturbed. or disturbed to the what the masses think.

So let me get this straight:

1. Death is the beginning of another "plain" of "existance". Plain what? Vanilla?

Death is not slightly predictable, it IS predictable. You will die. Your flesh will rot and feed some worms, weeds, and pretty little trees.

i see death as a map or a story, it shows the end and the beginning. So what, i like to know how people want to die.

and i am a mutant. in a manner of speaking. the diseases that riddle my body leave me wonding how people want to die. Where as i don't get a choice.

you're not a mutant. you're a human being. every single one of us gets ill or diseases of some kind at some time. no single human is perfect.

death is no map. it cannot be plotted on a map. it may be a listed point on the key or legend, but never plotted.

you can create death, or attempt to, for yourself or others. but it is no map.

nor is life.

a better analogy would be that life is like an unbound book where pages are added in clumps. chapters begin and end, and the story moves on. death is the binding of this book, the finalization of the story. a new life comes when your unbound book, spawns a sequel or spin off story of that of your child.

As I have often said, I want to die peacefully and in my sleep. Not screaming and yelling like the folk in the car I am driving at the time.

Either that, or jump off the Empire State Building while shouting " I never did anything right!" only to get hit by a bus just before I hit the pavement.

you have some nice ways to die there. I want to be eaten by a nice teddy bear, I would prefer a cute grizzly, or burn in my house along with my poetry collection, but I guess I will die by a silver bullet, or a wooden stick in my heart. My neighbours do not like me. I have nooo idea why.

I told my Wife that if I live to be over 80 years old, I want to walk into the back country of Alaska to feed the bears.

Her only complaint about it was having to find part of me to have a funeral for.

I do not want a funeral, no ashes, no bones. A complete recycling of my body in any possible way.

All possible parts donated to those that need it, and the rest cremated and the ashes spread to the wind.

And as to the questions...

As far as what would make the 'perfect' death, how it happened would be less important than when it happened. That would be IMO when one is ready for it, and I would think most people (including suicides though it wouldn't seem so) wouldn't be ready to find out what might be beyond this plane of existence if anything.

As far as funeral and such, my answer is what difference would it make? The way I see it I wouldn't know what was going on after I'd died because my consciousness would not be of the sort that I have now, and if it were then there would be little I could do concerning the goings on. There would be little that I could do at that point to change anything if my wishes hadn't been carried out as I'd instructed.
