Convoluted logic though, the same logic could lead to any other number of possibilties, including not only the other types of theists, but also any particular space pixie. No, that isn't blind faith, beliveing in the existence of the Holy Spirit is blind faith, and believing the Holy Spirit has baptised you is blind faith. Moses needed blind faith to believe it was God who spoke to him and not some natural as opposed to supernatural explanation.

However, your probably confusing blind faith as being something intrinsicly bad as its blind. I would use another word, but 'believers' tend to deliberately confuse faith as belief with empirical evidence and faith as belief with no empirical evidence towards it.

The Beginning: a short essay

What is the beginning? This question has been troubling philosophers, and theologians, and scientist alike. But today, we roughly understand the beginning as that which started it all, or rather, what started this universe. Theologians speak of gods, and immortal creators of all power. Science speaks of physical properties converging into several, possible, yet praubable "big-bang-theories." Philosophy only ask, how should the beginning be defined?

Thus, the issue of time. It seems, that time is linear. You are you, your parents before you, their parents before them, and their parents before them, and so on.....till the beginning. Yet, unless it stops at some point, you have infinity. Unless this digression stops, you have what is known as circular time. Yet, with circular time, there is no need for God. No need of the essence (per se). Life is as it is, forever. How so? (See: Big-Bang theories)

Howevere, to assume God, you must think of it as the Necessary Being. That which is the beginning. Where the digression stops. Problem is, is said being sentient? Said being had to have been created for time to have begun? Or did it?
