but seriously, i am not one those who defines poets as though who know poetry, but it does help........if one wants to write poetry (and not that whole "oh, it's my heart and blah blah blah") then it does help to know some basic poetic principles, and of course some of the great poets............all i gotta say is that if one wants to write poetry, good poetry, then one must read poetry....and by the typical poems i have read here, not one of them could name one good poet.....so yeah, all those who are pissed off that us bitching don't know shit, fuck off, drink some goddamn coffee, and read some ginsberg or some shit........

1. I didn't know about that forum, and I received a PM from one of the poets telling me that someone was injuring weirdgirl and her poetry excessively, and telling me that this guy "billy the kid" was only a motherfucker who was not saying anything interesting but attacking Weirdgirl and the poetry forum.
I read this PM and I didn't got enough time to investigate it. (sorry for this but... things happen, too many duties) so i went directly (feeling that it was another case of a stupid moron who needs to feel better attacking others' work and saying that it is just feedback) to the thread and read the first and last posts (the important ones) and I thought (ignorance about the bitch subforum) he deserved to be banned because here I have seen other people banned because of less reasons.
So i defended the Forum I moderate, I defended one of the poets in there, and I defended myself because in that thread it is said that poetry forum is full of good opinions etc, well I know this, and I'm fed up with telling the poets not to suck others' cock all the time, but I can't do anything about it for now. My poetry thread (Arcole's poetry) is not full of opinions because of this, i don't want them, i don't need them.

2. I have NEVER injured someone here ( at least not more than one time). I always ignore people, and try to be in a further point, because I got no patience nor time to stand someone's stupidities easily written behind his/her comp. I don't have to explain my life to anybody and nobody knows a shit about me in some senses (the important and real ones). So if I don't injure (and sometimes i wish it) I want not to be injured by ANYBODY just for simple respect.

Ok, first of all, this IS an injure (not feedback) directly aimed to my work (which I'm sure that person has not read, nor understand and one cannot talk about something one doesn't understand or know)
and second: I won't allow that.

this is true, darkforum is a place to write dark stuff. If you do not like it and want to read about butterflys and sunny shit, then go to poetry.com. Darkforum unfortunatly has many dark life stories, people being abused, depressed or whatever, and since people write what they know or feel, then what do you expect? If you don't think their writing is good then give them constructive ways to improve their writing or stay out of their thread. You do not have to read their words, especially if you have nothing good to contribute, and by good I don't mean saying only good things, but good as in ways to improve or help their writing. Darkforum is a place where people come to get to know other people in their situation, to express their feelings, and is often an emotional venting place, not a "hm wonder if I could get published here" place. saying that the poetry is not publishing material is a mute point then, Because often that is not the writers reason for writing. Besides most writers who come here need to hear positive things about their stuff in order to build up a high enough self-confidence in themselves as people, before they are ready to talk about how to improve their writing. and this is what I think of as one of darkforums greatest strengths. But this is my opinion, don't like it, then don't read it. After all this is the bitch forum.

there is but one reason poetry is written here. so many ppl may express themselves and find others who share thier passion.

Usually when sombody starts to bitch, they usually do thier homework first. I also find it quite amusing how unoriginal you are. Quoting or rather speaking of other poets who YOU feel should be our role-models. lol

I personally like to try things differently. I understand, of course, that our well loved friend here, Billy the Kid, is simply a lamb, following his shepard, so i dont hold against him.

personally, poetry is an opinion, a perspective; therefore, it cannot be either good or bad. a style is a style and personally i didnt come here to write poetry for everyone else but rather WITH everyone else.

ppl like our friend Billy have a hard on for gettin ppl worked up, thus creating this thread, and furthermore surrounding himself with all this beautiful attention. else, why in the world would he care how ppl wrote.

I know, since he seems to care about it soooo much, why doesnt he open a centre, where he can sit on a throne of shit and teach his godly wisdom, concerning poetry, to those who, in his opinion, are shitty writers.

Thus instead of being a part of a problem he could maybe lift one of his unoriginal fingers and add to a cause. Maybe help his fellow man and woman alike.

I completely agree with constructive criticism, and i enjoy hearing it, but if you know how to read a poem, and not just see it, you would understand someone for it, thus understanding how far to take your criticism.

Maybe if he took the time to actually do this, he could understand..... but his closed mind has a hard time, and again i understand... thus this is my opinion...
