This whole 'clash of civilizations' argument sounds like the sort of crap that people like Treitschke were coming out with in the 19th century, and which formed the ideological basis for Nazism. Then it was all about races in competiton, now it's all about cultures in competition. It makes no real difference. It's mean, aggressive and small minded. Put it away.
