Why can't everyone just shut the fuck up and get along? I hate racism (for the record) but doesn't the fact that you are talking to people of all nationalities/races and not necessarily know thier ethnic background go to prove that the colour of our skin accounts for fuck all when it comes to personalities?
What would happen if say you met someone on the forum that you really liked, really got along with, even messaged, and they turned out to be of some race you decided (for whatever reason) you didn't like? Then you'd hate them?

Your analogy about not knowing the ethnicity of other forum members reminds of when I was a little kid in school. We had to be between 5 and 10 years old and on MLK day, we had an old black-woman come in and tell us all about slavery and civil rights.
I always used to let my mind wander back then but I remember thinking that something seemed odd about the old womans face, she looked black but something about her skin-tone seemed oddly washed and pale. Her eyes didn't look right either.
I hung back a little as my class-mates were fileing out, I was standing behind the old woman as she sat in her rocking chair. I stood there just long enough to see this old women take a wash-cloth and wipe her face . . . and how the cloth was smeared with black make-up . . .
