the only thing that will arise from the use of nuclear weapons is that the callous that stops men from useing them will fall off. if there is a hotspot somewhere in the world instead of send troops it will be ICBMs.

and what of the afghans? sure they have terrible lives, but it morally and ethicly and any other 'ly's wrong to liquidate 7 million people because a handfull acted aganst you. its comparable to 1939 berlin. the nazi's were pissed at a few jews so they killed 6 million.

Thanks Gods for the BBC and the Telegraph... they may be Western, but at least they're reasonably objective. The current wave of rascism in America (and even over here) is sickening. The news wants to call it war,affecting the entire country. So now, this is a WAR. a war we could have done without, btw,if george was'ent such a greedy bastard. his responses often sicken me but i'm glad in a sense that he still hangs around, discussing it means there's still hope for him yet. at least we all don't think alike. [or like this]. and the ignorance of others only allows us to see it and try not to be that way.

There's many different sides to this issue, but in the end, something had to be done. I don't agree for a moment with "nuke-em george", but you cannot expect this group of terrorists to kill 5,000 people and not be payed back. Although we were invading their holy land after they repeatedly asked us to leave, that doesn't give them the right to kill innocent women and children. Although because of our "policies" women and children are dying of starvation in the middle east, while our soldiers dine on roast beef and potatoes. There is no end to this. George cannot declare war on an intangible thing that cannot EVER die. Terrorism has been alive and well since before biblical times, so to think that we, as American's (god help us) can defeat something as imperishable as hate, is downright conceited, but hell, we're americans, the whole world hates us.

well that's thing isn't it? the terrorists did it on a small scale and america will do the same only much bigger of course coz they've gotta prove their power. a group of people did something bad. and the 'victims' struck back by killing some of the 'enemy'. but the enemy that were killed were innocents. i'm talking about the wtc here. and so the new 'victims' attack the new 'enemy' but instead of just attacking the known enemy, they'll attack anything that resembles it. it's one thing to make those who did wrong pay for what they did. it's a completely different case when you're killing innocent people. and what is pay back? maybe this the sept 11 attacks was a pay back. and now the score is even. but america's ego would never let that go. someone hurts america, america will hit them twice as hard.

it is a fitting quote, and those who don't agree with it don't really understand it. that day in school, so many people were crying, instead of it being a happy day (yes i realize how conceited this sounds) and getting presents and being embarrased at lunch by being sung to... i was concoling my friends who had relatives, aunts uncles brother sister moms and dads who they didn't know where they were, dead trapped, caught in traffic. One of my good friends dad is a pilot. He was trying to pick up the flight that crashed into the white house, glad he didn't but still, i live an hour away from DC many people live here because its right between the state capital and the country's. That was a terrible day. 911 .... i think the date almost says it all.
