really, I did the alchohism and drug abuse thing...for about 4 years straight... but I still managed to get out every once in a while.

so I revert to the sad statement.

So, as a wee lad during my youth, I was an outlandish freak, but popular. I had friends and had sex. So, life was good. But I hated it. So I went to college at WSU in Dayton, Oh. Eek! I was a fucking alien man! No one would talk to me, and I mean no one! It took me three years before I found at least a few people I could call friends...even though that same year, my roomate tried everything in his power to make everyone hate me. Anywho, my last two years in college were good. I had friends and good roomates. And we partied hard. But they partied hard with other people. And even in my own apartment, people would treat me like shit...which didn't really fly with me because at that time, I would fuckin' stab someone if they said shit to me in my own place. So, my peeps would have these little pre-parties before going to party. I rarely went. I tried going a few times, but man, every fucking party "HEY YOU! WHAT THE FUCK YOU DOING HERE?! GET THE FUCK OUT!!" So, I got sick of it. So I never really went to any parties. And if I did, it was usually to find drugs and drink free liquor. But it was all good, being as I was an introvert and enjoyed being by myself when drunk and on drugs, playing video games and shit.

During those same years...throw into the mix: a cheating whore of girlfriend, a nasty little break up...then the love of my life dating my best friend, yet tickling my fantasy to fuck her...actually fucking me than telling my best friend it was rape...destroying several friendships and my band...

Now, I'm usually always a happy guy. I'm funny, loving, and a fun person to be around. And I'm a happy drunk. But man, I was a drunk. I know in college, people are s'posed to drink lots...I drank the most. I averaged about 3 bottles of whiskey a week, shots of whatever, beer, beer, beer, and more beer, while being high and snorting whatever. Now, I know everyone's like, dude, whatever...check it: I could take 3 shots of everclear back to back without making a face and the most beer I ever drank in one sitting was 19 cans.

So anywho...I graduated college. I moved back home, to dial-up. Was just lazy a lot at that point. I continued to drink and do any kind of substance I could find.

But today, I'm all good and clean and living happily with my girlfriend. I drink occassionally, but not too hardcore as it upsets her. And other than smoking the occasional joint, which I haven't done in months, I'm clean. So yeah...that's how that went.

first a little backstory, I grew up in the philippines and attended a very prestiges school in Manila.... I was reading steinbeck in 6th grade as part of my studyies... well you get the idea, it was a great school. Then my sister got sick and I had to move back to the USA... and I got put in some christian fuckup school.. the kind of place that parents send their kids when they get kicked out of regular school ...anyway...my friend gave me acid at school one day, my first hard drug experience, (other than pot and beer) I decided it was a good idea to drop out so I walked up to the vice principle and told him to shove the school up his ass and walked out.... I spent the next few years trying to homeschool myself ... and by homeschool I mean waiting for my parents to go to work and getting fucked up on the pharms that I convinced my parents that I needed (ie xanax and valium). eventually my parents came to see my addiction to xanax for what it was and kicked me out of the house after taking my car and all my pills. I lived in a toolshed out back of my friends house for 6 months before I swore that I would get clean and my parents let me move back in. about this time I didnt quit doing drugs, I just found better ones to do... its alot easier to function on cocaine then it is on xanax.... they never knew. about this time I took a night job bouncing at a tittie club (which is code word for doing xtc and cocain with whores and getting paid for it) I eventually overdosed on the infamous speedball (heroin and coke for all u straight edgers)... I got clean for almost 2 months... but when I got out of rehab, it was back to the grind. and I found a new drug combination that is almost as bad: wiskey and cocaine. I drank myself into a blur for about 2 years... meanwhile I kicked the coke habit and the xanax and oxy... untill I drank so much that was all that I did.... you want to talk about excess. I drank a gallon of wiskey in 3 hours.... I passed out for 10 minutes and from what people tell me I jumped up and grabbed a kitchen knife and proceded to cut 1/4" deep gashes in my arms... after another breif stint in the hospital I got clean from all hard drugs, I dont drink liquor except on holidays and special occasions (3/4 times a year) and even then in moderation.

I still smoke bud, and drink beer... but thats it, with a kid on the way the bud is on the way out too.

Yeah, that's rough.
