So, um, yeah, I do the roasting for the coffee shop that I work at and have been for a while. The other day I went in and the roaster caught on fire. The machine turned out fine, and there was a little mess to clean up. Not really a big deal. But while I was talking to the Fire dept, I found out that the chimney that comes off the roaster had not been cleaned for like two years, and then I thought, oh, that must be it. But then today my boss calls me and sez that the reason the fire started was because I had not cleaned the area where the ashes and basic leftovers from the roasting process fall. Well that would be fine and dandy in all, but, um, I told him when I first tried to clean that the vaccum that I am supposed to clean that shit up with was broken. He ignored it, and so I didn't have any way to know what to do, so I went along with as it was.
I don't know, there is something that doesn't feel right about it. I don't think it was all my fault and I don't want to take all the responsiblity for it. I am glad he is not going to try to charge me for it.
I don't want to touch that fucking thing anymore. And tomarrow I have to go in and try it without the fan to suck all the smoke out the machine. Oh what fun. I really don't think I should try that, it seems I have bad luck with it and blowing myself and the place where I work to bits is not high on my list of things to accomplish in this lifetime.
I could go into it more, but it is the overwhelming sense of guilt that I have that is really stressful. And the answer that the sweep gave is not doing it for me, so there is now a great deal of conflict that I have sort through before I go into the shop and fuck with that thing again.

I was reading about the sequence of events that happened on sept 11 and became quite confused. I mean I don't normally like to believe in conspiracy theories. And this one is real big. I am not sure what to believe anymore. All I know is that it took NORAD an hour and 53 minutes to respond and that is an extraordinary amout of time for something like that for this agency. They normally respond within minutes. There had to have been an order to stand down. Much like the order for the 162nd division to stand down that day in Dallas, 1963. That day I know to have been a conspiracy, I seen too many films on who the assassin was that day. People don't move back towards where the shot comes from.

I am so sick of the other board I go to. I like a lot of people there, but they seem to have these complexes that give their already overblown egos miracle-grow. One forum was way abnoxious, then it turned out to have some really good conversations, and other boards that were seemingly balanced, have turned into hell holes. Someone said that my siggy was putrid, and I made a joke and they thought I should be rewarded with a red dot. Oh boy

oh well tomarrow is just another day. And fuck'em if they can't take a joke.

Eh, jobs are designed to have things that go wrong every so often. Not much you can do but feign a smile and earn your money. You could also quit, but I don't know if that's something you want to do.
