i agree, but then again what we are on the forums could be what we were in real life. this is kind of a stage we're acting on. i'm just saying that actors always have stereotypical personalities to some extent.

oh, and this bugs me, and don't take it as an insult to your intelligence or anything at all, but i've been wondering whether the following is really right:

does the comma really go there? it bothers the hell out of me. maybe it's just one of those quirks... but would the following be wrong?

thefrog, the pseudo-intellectual with good wit and generally cool disposition. humorous and well loved.

psychogirl... well, i'll admit she's probably also very gothic, but less like gothickid and more like myself. from what i gathered she likes 'gothic' things because they appeal to her sense of aesthetics, but she doesn't consciously try to let it dictate her life. of course, in my dealings with others, that's the sort of image i want to get across, that is, of a kind of stand-offish guy. but deep down i'm sure we're all pretty much the same, past the image we're projecting. i suspect this is particularly true of psychogirl and me, since we seem to project similar things, but then again, it could just be coincidence.

this is probably the closest assumption about me yet, the only thing is that I am not acting for anyone. I am who I am no matter where I am or what I am doing, and although you will think this too is acting, I suppose it doesn't matter that much to me, because at least I know the truth, it's better that no one know for sure if I am who I say I am, than for me to not even know who I am. but thanks for sticking up for me...and btw I hope nothing in this seems as though I am trying to say something bad, because that is not the way I meant it.

well, i mean you're welcome. personally i think it's healthy to have self image and i like seeing it in others and i know that i need self image. even if you're not acting for others, you can still be acting for yourself. it makes you feel alive and real and we all want that... we all try to be like people we love so we love ourselves and if we relate ourselves to the external world we feel more important, but in a positive way. it's my outlook on life - we're all fake to feel real.

i put the comma there because if i said it out loud, i'd lift my voice and pause a tiny bit there placing emphasis on the word forum.

i write how i'd speak it.

By george watson...I think you're right...sorry for some reason when I read this, flashbacks from sherlock holmes stories flooded my mind...though it was probably just a random thing I don't know...but anyways...I just wanted to say that that is an interesting idea...and it could very well be true
