1. Have you had any sexual contact with a person of the same sex in the past 6 months?

2. Do you use intervienious needles or share IV needles?


I answered of course no to both and the doctor told me and I quote

"It isnt likely then that you would have HIV,because heterosexual males have a harder time of contracting it than homosexual ones or females. And since its in such a small percentage of the Americna population the biggest cause for worry would be homosexual activity or IV drug use. But of course we will run the test to check anyway."

This is exactly what I was told.

If youre telling me that the doc at the clinic was wrong I would sure like to see some proof of your credentials to make such a claim.

lol... 1, I don't have to prove shit to you. 2, there are 4 ways to contract HIV (you don't contract AIDs, rather that's a result of HIV supressing your immune system). Breast milk, semen, vaginal secretions, and blood transfer. Sex or needles don't even have to be involved, but are the most likely candidates. HIV is a very real threat to heterosexual males and females. Hard to contract is bullshit. It only takes one encounter with the wrong person, that's all, and there's nothing hard about that... well, for the majotity of us.

...and just FYI, doctors, though mostly respectable and highly educated, are not gods.
