War sells tickets, In your world there would be no violent movies that glorify war, get rid of one you gotta get rid of the other. The world would be a bland place without war, most of history is war, most veidogames are war, most movies are war.

We don't "need" war - especially not just so we can give the movie and video game industry something to make money out of. That is a child's view of the world - one which totally ignores the suffering and misery that war creates, and is little more than stamping your feet and saying "well, I want it cos I want my video games and movies".

And I think you'll find that there were more war movies around in the late 40s and 50s than there are now - you're not desensitised - that's just a cop-out. You are responsible for your actions and your statements - don't try and blame the bloody movies or your favourite video game for how you are.

Without war there would be no violence there would be little contraversy and most of my favorite activitys would be gone, such as Magic the gathering based on fighthing and therefore war related. Or how about the command a conquer games, based on fighting therefore they would have to be gone with.
I would also like you to refrain from callime me spoiled, I work alot to be able to afford what I have. My parents have never given me much when it comes to things except cloths and food. I had to by my sytstym and I had to buy my bikes and I had to buy my cards. Spoiled is a VERY bad word for me, being that I work harder than most people my age and make little to no money, on top of that my parents take 2/3s of it for clothing and food charges..........

Not if you remove war sometime in the future. That might sound impossable but its still more likely than removing all traces of it from history as well as preventing any future wars.

games have been around since have people, in peaceful times, and war times...in peace it's to pass time, in war it's to temporarily escape the atrocities...and they'll be here long after we are...

why is it you don't think a game such as magick would still be here, chess survived the cold war, the olympics too...

Lets just say war is abolished by a neculer holocost, A small number of people survive and decide that violence is bad and that they dont want war. A couple generations later there has been no talk of war for quite a few years. Some kid runs out of town and finds a chess board and instructions, he is appaled by the fact that these people are "Killing" with these plastic peices for sport....
