i was supposed to bring the kitties *all 3* in for a rabies shot and the second series shots for the 2 kittens, but the fucking air force vet clinic hasnt been answering the fucking phone! i cant just bring the cats there, i need to make an appointment. both Psyko and i have been calling but no answer! Lenore also needed a pill for killing tapeworms (she had bad fleas when we got her and found out she had tapeworms). i actually broke down and went to a regular vet and payed an insane amount of money for a deworming pill for her, since regular deworming shots wont kill tapeworm.

i may just walk into the AF vet clinic and bitch at them hardcore about their phone issue. my kittens need their shots and im not paying an insane amount of cash for 3 kitties to get 1 shot each!
the regular vet wanted to charge me 27 dollars PER KITTY for a feline distemper shot. we were charged 12 dollars by the vet on base.

What AF base do you go to? I can call and make a nasty call to them if you'd like... they hate to see us pissed off. Either that or I could call and ask for a discount for you because of their ignorance to not answer phones.





I'm sorry your kitties are not feeling well. Best thing to cure fleas is Frontline, though with everything else you may be able to go to a pet supply store and find the tapeworm medicine. It usually comes in a liquid form which your kitties will eat like it's going out of style. Though I don't know where you are, some states don't sell stuff like that because they want the vets to make all the cash. Or you could go online to Petmeds.com (I think that's the site) and look online for things your babies need.

If all else fails... I blow the place up for yah. Or give you another phone number that they can be reached at.

Sheppard AFB. the kitties are ok, but they need their rabies shots. theyre past due. i broke down and gave Lenore a pill that kills tapeworm (bought it at another vets office) and i took care of the flea issue ages ago.

pisses me off tho cos Psyko and i BOTH call at random times of the day and we never get an answer!

whats worse is Demon (psyko's kitten) somehow got a bad eye infection a couple weeks ago when we were out of town. our friend Jenn was coming by the house to feed them and change the litter. even JENN tried calling the vet to make an appointment for Demon's eye and still no answer. thankfully the eye cleared up on its own and hes fine now. but the point is that it could have been very bad and cost him the sight in that eye!

weekends but theyre closed on weekends. i asked him if he could take a weekday off and he says it counts as taking leave, and takes 2 weeks to clear.

He should ask for it. And state that he needs it cause the vet clinic won't pick up their phone. Seems something would get done either way.

Get your Kitties some Revolution. It is great stuff. Works instantly on fleas quicker than frontline and all that other stuff. Also works to kill ticks and other insects that would want to use you "babies" as hosts. It also helps with heatworm.

the flea situation is already under control. none of the cats, nor the dog have fleas anymore. and ive given Lenore a pill for the tapeworm.
