What happened to DF over the weekend? There's still a lot of posts missing...


Was anyone else able to download the forum.php source?

It was a server glitch that overwrote everything with the wrong back-up. Which fucked the whole system up and reverted the site back to 1/17/08 as well as brought it down for a few days.
Some of the info was lost, I think a couple days worth, but it is all good now.

I was wondering about that. I tried to get on, and everything was old. Then when I tried again, I got the PHP source.

I thought maybe someone had hacked the site, or someone fucked something up when trying to change things around.

Yeah I was pretty much in the blind as well until Susie figured it out and communicated the problem to the Mods

The only people on here I know how to get ahold of outside of the forums are Spikess and Nox. If I had all the mods' email addys, I could have let you guys know.
It started Saturday sometime around noon, I think.

I was actually going to suggest that we compile some sort of list of all the moderator emails or messenger names etc. Because I don't have anyone's but Billy and Tozzy. And Tozzy I can just call on the phone.

The best thing to do if there is a problem with the forum (ie - it's completely down) is to send an email to Sanjay.

For other problems, If the forum is up and running, I suggest the best way is to send a PM or email (through our profiles) to your favourite moderator or moderator of choice depending on problem.

I'm always on hand for any problems you might have, but I only run one email address now, one which is personal, but emails sent via DF will get to me.
