what shes saying is more in reference to her friend having a scare and freaking out...and then not learning a damn thing and just going back out and doing it all over again.

WHO SAID her firend didnt learn a damned thing? Maybe she did and her reasoning for keeping the child now is a direct result from said learning. Nothing like going through a possible pregnancy scare to reduce the fears of the real thing and let her think about it more calmly.

Yes and I think its selfish and arrogant to think as such. To automatically assume her friend learned nothing is stupid, maybe she learned that having a baby wouldnt be such a horror.

Good fuck. It upsets me because she's my friend and I love her. And I'm not telling her to get an abortion, or in anyway tryng to suggest she shouldnt keep this child. I have offered her nothing but support. She knows I'm there for her. Hell, I'll even babysit for her if she wants.

And it DOES effect me. She's my friend, she's going to need help. I hate saying it but most of her friends arent going to help her through this. Her parents will disown her, her current boyfriend will probably leave her shortly, and most of her friends will ditch her because she wont be able to party anymore. This DOES effect me. I will be there for her through this.

And I'm fine with that. I am incredibly happy to help her get through, because I love her. But I promise you, when she had the first scare all she could talk about was how she DIDNT want to have a child, how she was going to be smarter and safer, because she DIDNT want this to happen.

as for the bone density issue, drink more milk. if you cant handle milk, go for calcium supplements. if youre lacking in bone density now, youre a very good candidate for osteperosis not far down the road. porous bones that break very easily are no fun, i can assure you.

anything besides menopause that causes natural bodily functions (like my period) to stop...well, that's just wrong. Course I'm a little paranoid of manufactured drugs. I swear all those men out there using viagra are going to have their dicks fall off in ten years. Yeah, that and I gained a good 60-70 lbs on Depo for no good reason. (I ate right & was active... NO reason to gain that much weight over 2 years. I stopped it, and once it was finally out of my system... (6 months) the weight dropped off like magic. It was so bad I used to joke that it was birth control only because nobody would have you.
Personally, I prefer condoms... birth Control and STD prevention all rolled into one. Much fun.

I take the pill 'cause I already have to take a handful of pills in the morning so one more isn't too much to add in. Never really liked condoms though, but I don't do that foolin' around thing anymore and since I've run all my tests and I'm okay and my bf is clean as well no worries.
