hmmm.....the homsexual debate......think i'll make a post about it...............ok folks, here's my take....first off, i am not anti-homo and don't care about shit like that, however i do recognize the argument opposing gay marriage.............ok, so why do gays want to get married? you can say itz b-cuz they want to express their love and all that yippy heartfelt bullshit, but the real reason is: that gays want the same rights as married couples (such as being covered by a spouses plan, etc.)........now, the country says no! you can't get married! why? well, the truth of it is, the church is against gay-marriage........the term "marriage," as known by the courts (via necessary definitions(?)) implies the union between man and woman, recognized by both the state and the church........now, the church won't recognize gay marriages, thereby niether can the state........so naturally, gays bitch and yaddah yaddah yaddah.......

now! here's the deal kiddies........since the church won't recognize gay marriage, gays cannot justly bitch, for the church is gainst homosexuality anyway......why should the church change their views? their beliefs? we may try and claim to be a Politically Correct nation, but beliefs are something else..........now, the state cannot directly force the church to accept gay marriage, and thus the state cannot recognize gay marriage, per se.......yet, there are ways the state tries to help gays......gays can do this thing (which i forget what it is called) but its considered a union in partnership, and is very much considered to be a marriage in every "political" sense....that is, having such a certificate of partnership, homosexuals are covered by their partner's plan.......

so, gays don't really have it that bad......they too can have rights, most rights, that a married couple has, though not recognized by the church, or the state as such..........however, there is a clause or sumtin that states if a man and woman live together for a number of years, they are "married".....and they have the rights and all that bullshit......i do not think the same applies to homosexuals though.........

in the end, i dunno.......i see both arguments, but i advocate the belief that it is not justified for the state to change someone's belief (like the churches) when it comes to something that crosses multiple planes (such as marriage: crossing a politcal, cultural, and spiritual plane)..............however, i think it is some fucking bullshit that Bush is pushing for an ammendment that bans gay marriage.....though it will most likely never go through.......yet, the debate will rage on.......essentailly the gays will prolly win, but should they?.....justly so?

You know I think that gay people have EVERY FUCKING RIGHT to get married just as straight couples do. I don't see why other people have to make such a big deal about it. I mean love is love. I hate the fact that people who are in church like to preach to the people that are gay and then having to sit here and tell us how wrong it is and that we don't have a fucking right to choose who we want to fall in love with out of the same sex. But i'm glad that other states like to help us out in this kind of a situation. Isn't God sappost to love ALL OF HIS CHILDREN?!

But won't two gay guys I work with cause my health insurance to increase? If they BOTH get the same benefits that a man/woman get, theres more people included on my bill. I don't want to pay for ken and steves herpes medication, or aids related trips to the hospitol!
Can you point out a reason why gay marriage is good? How it won't cost me $$$???
